In front of the soccer worldcup I’m facing this prejudice a very personal way. Because I’m not a soccer fan I’m looking for places where is no soccer worldcup hype. But I learned: All germans are addictet to this soccer worldcup!
This isn’t a prejustice but a truth.
Even my little Italian restaurant, where I’m used to sit every evening, threatens to install a big screen, so I’ll be forced to view the soccer worldcup.
So belive me, these Germans are crazy about the soccer worldcup.

Not true: Not all Germans love soccer! I think, I know some, who hate it - espescially watching games in TV. Less party when you’re a couch-potatoe.
Sure true: All Germans are natural born soccer-players. Its in our blood. Others are allowed to play with outr teams - but German Teams win.
Also true: Most German men like to watch the short dressed female Fans from other countries. Its often more interesting to watch them - but their teams.
So “Hello! You’re welcome. Be guest at a freinds place!” - during Fifa-Worldchamionship or any time you like - as long as you wear those short dresses.

Fritz wrote: “Not all Germans love soccer! I think, I know some, who hate it.” I have to agree - I’m one of them. And this year is extremely hard for me, because life is not easy in Germany, if you don’t have the slightest idea of soccer…

I’m a german girl and I love it too. I hate those people who want to strictly avoid everything that has to do with football (I mean the real football that you call “soccer”), especially at such wonderful times like the world cup that has been here… The atmosphere was great and even some of my friends that aren’t interested in football viewed the matches with me (public viewing is fun for everyone!) (Though I hate questions like “Are we the white players?” ;-))

you can’t say that in general, there still people how are not up to it at all. I hated the soccer championship, because of all the ads on it and this “event” has nothing to do with sports! And there are a lot of friends of mine (and me) who don’t play it and if we get a ball would use it for a different ball game, like volley ball.

Hallo! Guten Tag!
I live in the geographic center of Germany. Only about half an hour away from Colone. (And I can tell you: When you ever come to Germany: Do not only visit the Okoberfest. The Towns like Colone or Düsseldorf can be much more interesting than Munich or Berlin).
I was in Los Angeles a few Month ago and I`ve to laud the American. I didn`t meet one American there how wasn`t cute to me.
So see you in New York next time…

sure dusseldorf.. o.O oh noes.. omg..
do yourself a favor and never ever go there..
it’s nothing there but snobs.. everyone in
cologne will tell you, that i’m right..
but.. also don’t go to cologne..
why..? you may ask.. well first of all..
it’s one of the ugliest built cities of germany.. (it even won an anti-price once) and.. besides the cologne dome, there’s nothing to see..
and the oktoberfest isn’t in germany at all (they wish.. lol) so stay away from german cities.. they stink and the people are lousy and unfriendly.. munich on the other hand is beautiful to the limit.. you will never ever forget your stay.. coz the whole world knows that bavaria is THE place to go when you’re in europe and want to feel welcome..
bavaria didn’t participate when the germans have all fallen for that ‘americans are killers’-hype.. bavaria had so many us-soldiers and loved every single one of em.. also the bavarian politicians tried to persuade that communist lefties to stop that anti-america movement.. even the bavarian senator told them to be ashamed of that behaviour directed towards a companion, friend and life-saver (after wwII)..
anywayz.. after munich you can visit the bavarian countryside.. small cities like garmisch-partenkirchen.. where you will also meet people dressed in uniforms.. but those lederhosn are freaky.. and the frauleins are hot! ;)
i enjoyed my stay there.. and so did all people stationed there.. visits in other german based barracks and civilian areas were horrible.. germans always started fights in clubs and tried to insult us..
so.. do go visit bavaria.. you’ll love the place and the uniforms

You’ve made some really good points there. I checked on the net to find out more about the issue and found most people will go
along with your views on this web site.

Howdy! This is kind of off topic but I need some help
from an established blog. Is it tough to set up your own blog?
I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick.
I’m thinking about setting up my own but I’m
not sure where to begin. Do you have any ideas or
suggestions? Thanks
